For those of you who don’t know, opportunities to do men’s college gymnastics in the NCAA have been dwindling. There is so much passion and talent for gymnastics that never makes it out of high school. An organization called GymACT is working to create more opportunities at the college level.
Several Ohio coaches, gymnasts and parents have been working extremely hard to set up a team for Indiana & Ohio. The team will be open to athletes in those states regardless of where they go to college. The last piece of the puzzle before we can officially become an official GymACT club is to prove viability. That means athletes and money. We’ve got the athletes and now we are humbly asking for any support you can give.
Below is a link to a GoFundMe page to help support the new Indy-Hio GymACT Team.
https://gofund.me/d61c7dbaGTCO has a long history with men’s collegiate gymnastics at all levels (club, GymACT & NCAA). Craig Jasin (New York Alliance), Jack Sauer (Indy-Hio) and Will Sauer (Iowa) are all part of the GTCO family who are connected to GymACT teams. As opportunities like this increase, I know we’ll have more GTCO athletes join their ranks.
Please let me know if you have any questions and please help spread the word to any gymnastics enthusiasts you may know!
